Burma Temple

Raja Raibahadur Shewbuxjee Bagla founded the Shree Shree Iswar Satyanarayanjee Temple in Moulmein, Burma in 1875. A lot of properties including two gigantic buildings of Rangoon, a garden at Moulmein were donated to the temple so that the rental income from the same can be used for the welfare of the Temple.

The Trustees and family members of Raibahadurji have looked after the Temple with great care and effort. Raja Sahab’s grandson, Satyanarayanjee Bagla, had given the Power of Attorney to Dr. Bathan to look after the Temple at Moulmein and other properties in Rangoon, which automatically became null and void with the death of Satyanarayanjee on 13th October 1992.  Unfortunately, Dr. Bathan did not have genuine intentions to giving up the management, and the Temple and its funds have been totally mismanaged by him.

Till date, Lalitji Bagla is putting in a lot of effort for the removal of Dr. Bathan and proper management of the said Temple.
